Subject: Official Groundbreaking and Community Dedication

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, we successfully marked the official start of construction for the new school at POC Site 1 in Juba. Supported generously by the GIN Team, this vital project represents a major step forward in bringing hope, security, and quality education directly to the children living within the camp.
The event was attended by key stakeholders, including the GIN Team Juba representatives, the Camp Management Chairman and Secretary, humanitarian partners, engineers, church elders, and community members who gathered to celebrate this milestone together.
The ceremony began with an opening address by the GIN Representative, who shared the vision of the school and GIN’s commitment to the project. The Camp Management Chairman and Secretary then spoke, expressing deep gratitude for GIN listening to their community’s needs, and promising full cooperation and local protection for the construction site.
Following the speeches, the leadership team, church elders, and GIN representatives gathered to turn the first soil, officially declaring the project underway. The ceremony concluded with a powerful closing prayer of dedication and protection led by the Church Pastor, followed by joyful and community blessings.
With site preparation and material delivery beginning immediately, this school will soon provide a safe, nearby learning environment for hundreds of children.
