These are our passionate and committed volunteer teachers who are dedicated to promoting education and helping students excel in Ulang County South Sudan. They, aim to help these students achieve their learning dreams.
We believe education is the key to a brighter future, and our efforts are focused on creating an environment where every child access education.
Distribution of menstrual kits to South Sudanese girls
Despite the hope and desire for education, our students experienced numerous challenges, such as a lack of school supplies, adequate space, and other essential materials. Due to a lack of dignity kits/hygiene kits, our female students faced menstrual period challenges. It’s a big challenge when anyone is on their period, they would just be absent from school. A warm-hearted group of people from the United Church of Christ in Midland Michigan USA members decided to help these vulnerable female students with hygiene kits. They funded the project to support South Sudanese female students in Ulang County, South Sudan and it became a successful project. We express our deep gratitude to the United Church of Christ, especially to the women, for their help to female students. Many of our students have never had access to such products, and we thank you immensely.
